Just outside of the town of Cafayate, in the province of Salta, the national route 68 winds through Quebrada de Cafayate. The road follows a river through a gorgeous red rock canyon. Desert temperatures encouraged me to paint quickly. I started this landscape painting on site and just now finished it up in the studio.
I'll me mailing this off to one of my kickstarter backers in a few days when I know for sure the paint is dry.
